SMA Alfamino is a hypoallergenic, amino acid-based infant formula designed for the dietary management of severe cows' milk allergy (CMA), multiple food protein allergies (MFPA), and other conditions where an amino acid formula is recommended. It is a food for special medical purposes and should be used under medical supervision.

How to Use:
  1. Wash your hands well.
  2. Sterilize the bottle, teat, and cap (by boiling for 5 minutes or with a cold water sterilising solution).
  3. Boil drinking (tap) water and allow it to cool for no more than 30 minutes.
  4. Pour the exact amount of water into the sterilised bottle carefully to avoid scalds, as the water is hot.
  5. Add the exact number of level scoops for the age of the baby.
  6. Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well until the powder is fully dissolved.
  7. Cool the bottle under cold running water until lukewarm. Test the temperature by shaking a few drops onto the inside of your wrist.
  8. Close the tin tightly after each use and store it in a cool dry place. Use within 3 weeks.

The advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian, or pharmacist on the need for and proper method of use of infant milks and on all matters of infant feeding should be sought.
